Planning the most important day of your life can be somewhat daunting, but rest assured Ray and Angie will provide a highly professional yet thoroughly personal service. From the moment you make your initial enquiry through to the big wedding day itself, you can relax with complete peace of mind, knowing that we are dedicated, experienced and friendly. We will be taking care of every detail at this wonderful wedding venue.

Masescha Retreat is a stunning location for your Perfect Day. We have first hand experience of local wedding designers and dress makers should you wish to have your dress made locally,we can recommend photographers, cake makers, live music. Talk to us about your transport needs from the moment you walk out of the airportand. Table plans, catering and accommodation is our speciality.

In other words we offer a simple and no fuss one stop guide to your special days.

Masescha Retreat provides a magnificent setting for weddings and receptions, standing in 20 acres of parkland with several ponds spanned by a wooden bridge, cottages and lodges together with an elevated terrace specially designed for your wedding.

We are able to offer a variety of wedding packages from the smaller, more intimate wedding party using our dining room in the Main House, to a Ceremony followed by wedding breakfast on our elevated terrace.

When you hold your ceremony at Masescha Retreat provides an elegant setting and will be available for your sole use from 10.00 a.m. to midnight on the wedding day.

We are able to accommodate a maximum of 80-seated guests for your wedding breakfast, and up to 120 for a stand up fork buffet.

If you do require music during the ceremony and wedding breakfast this can be arranged, and if you require live music and dancing at your reception then this is also available. For those guests wishing to stay overnight following the reception accommodation is available on an individual basis on site and nearby .

For the smaller wedding party we can offer the use of one of our magnificent drawing rooms in the Main House for your reception drinks followed by the wedding breakfast in either the sun lounge or terrace. The maximum number of seated guests in the sun lounge dining room is 16 and in the sunbird dining room 36. The reception would be from 12 noon and the wedding breakfast can be served up to 2.00 p.m. on the day or alternatively a reception from 6.00 p.m. with an evening dinner served up to 7.45 p.m.

Our Head Chef, Angie has produced a variety of wedding Bills of Fare for you to choose from and these can be varied to suit your specific requirements. The excellent selection of wines will compliment a high standard of cuisine.

Masescha retreat has its own recommended florist who will be happy to advise you on your complimentary floral arrangements to match your wedding theme, and any additional requirements you may have. We can also offer assistance for booking Live Music, cakes, photographers and transport.

As you will see part of the facility fee covers areas of the hotel grounds which may be used for photographs and may include the all Rooms, garden and terrace, a group shot in front of the landscape gardens and ponds and for the bride and groom photographs by the bridge and pond makes a superb backdrop.

We are able to help you book the Registrar to ensure your preferred date. Please note, however, that you can only book your date 12 months or less in advance.
